Who we are

GroupCheer is operated by orangejellyfish ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. We are the data controller for information collected through groupcheer.com and app.groupcheer.com.

What we collect

• Organisers: your name, email address and the event details you provide.
• Contributors: your name, optional email, and the video, photo or text message you choose to submit.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider; we never see or store full card details.

How clips are used

Video clips exist for one purpose: the montage the organiser requested. Invite links are private tokens; clips are visible to the event organiser and used only to render their video. We do not use your footage for advertising or to train AI models.

Retention and deletion

Events and their media are retained while the organiser's account is active and deleted on request. Contributors can ask for their clip to be removed at any time via the organiser or by contacting us.
