Group send-offs deserved better than a PDF card

GroupCheer collects short video messages from a group by link — no apps or accounts — and turns them into one polished montage video.

GroupCheer exists because organising a group goodbye is weirdly hard. Someone volunteers, and suddenly they're herding twenty people across three group chats, receiving sideways videos by WhatsApp, and hand-editing clips at midnight before the leaving do. The sentiment is easy; the logistics kill it. We built the logistics.

We're video-first on purpose. Group card sites bolt video on as an attachment; we think the montage is the gift — faces and voices, edited into something the recipient genuinely keeps. And we're UK-first on purpose too: priced in pounds, built around UK occasions (proper leaving dos included), from a company you can look up at Companies House.

GroupCheer is made by orangejellyfish ltd, a UK software company.

Who's behind it

GroupCheer is co-founded by James Allardice and Ross Greenhalf, who also run orangejellyfish ltd, the UK company behind it.
